I was having a wonderful conversation with my wonderful Pakistani friend Jacob after a delicious home cooked meal that he served me. I was telling him about my desire to be a missionary while doing graphic design/art/photography on the field.
This was his advice… “If people ever ask you why you are taking pictures of them or of the place, just answer them with this… ‘I am capturing a beautiful creation of God.”

All I can say is… nothing…because it was breathtaking.
You have to see it for yourself because the photos can only capture some of the elements. Being at the actual place engulfs you and you are left breathless at times.
So….
My friends came up with this grand idea of wanting to go to South Korea and/or China next summer.
This idea is actually becoming an actual picture. Doors are opening… opportunities are calling. Mind you, this is three cool kids… by that I mean losers…grabbing our bibles, laptops and a couple of clothes and going to South Korea to equip, teach and disciple. We will be adding to the team, so several cool kids.
Let me give you a background of the church in South Korea…. They are the fastest growing right now.
Why go there? Even though they are the fastest, they still need help with discipleship and encouraging and equipping the church body to be missional. Our hopes is to go to Busan, Korea. We are currently hooked up with a campus ministry that can get us a place to stay and a couple of jobs teaching english.
I will write more about this later and keep you guys updated but please please pray as this idea becomes a more structured plan.
